Rigworthy is reader-supported. Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links — most commonly to Amazon and other retailers. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly.

What this means in practice

As an affiliate of retailers including Amazon, we earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site.
Commissions fund the research and writing. They are the site's primary revenue source — we don't run sponsored posts, and no manufacturer pays for placement in a guide.
Rankings are set before monetization is considered. Several of our guides recommend products with lower commissions — or none — over better-paying alternatives, because the ranking comes first.
Affiliate links are marked at the page level: every guide carries a disclosure near the top, and outbound retail links use the industry-standard rel="sponsored" attribute.

What we don't do

No pay-for-placement. A product cannot buy its way into a guide.
No undisclosed sponsorships or gifted-product reviews presented as independent.
No fake urgency. We don't invent countdowns, stock warnings, or “deal expires tonight” pressure.
